Athlete Career Transition: looking back on a great 2022

Updated: Jun 5, 2023

Celebrating victories is a huge part of growth in sport and the corporate world alike, and what a fantastic twelve months it’s been for us here at Athlete Career Transition.

The past year has seen us help many former athletes to transition out of elite sport into top-flight careers in business.

It has been a privilege to assist these outstanding individuals, to develop their transferable skills and get them ready for professional life beyond the field of play.

It could not have been possible without our world-class partners. These organisations each recognise the value of hiring a former athlete, and their specialised programmes give that critical support to new recruits as they settle into new working environments.

Here are some of the global success stories that are powering our progress as we move into 2023.

“ACT is proud to have worked with exceptional individuals and organisations throughout this past year. The relationships we create are enabling former athletes to continue performing at the highest level in their professional lives after sport.

“We pride ourselves on the quality of our partnerships and on the high-calibre of candidates we source for the firms we work with. The effectiveness of our approach is reflected in the fantastic outcomes we’re seeing for all stakeholders.

“We look forward to building on these successes through 2023; to helping more athletes transition safely out of sport and into second careers in business.”
