Louise Gordon

Louise holds a distinguished track record as a former international field hockey player, representing Scotland in numerous tournaments and competitions.

After hanging up the hockey stick, Louise moved into education. Her path led her to help develop sporting provision within schools, leading large teams of staff and coaches and coordinating many programmes and events.

Louise holds a BSc in Physiology and Sports Science from the University of Glasgow, and a PGCE in Secondary PE Teaching from the Northumbria University.

Athlete Career Transition Co-Director, Andy Moore said:

“Louise has a wealth of talent and expertise accrued not only through her career in first-class sport, but also through academia and extensive work in education.

“She brings so much to the table, and will only keep growing, developing, and succeeding in the supportive working environment provided at Avanade.”

Athlete Career Transition works alongside global organisations to successfully transition professional former athletes across all disciplines into the corporate domain.
