Athlete Promotion: Sanne Verhagen

Athlete Career Transition (ACT) would like to give a big shout out to Olympian, Sanne Verhagen as she makes progress in her career at EY.

Having joined EY as an IT Auditor in September 2021, the Dutch former judo pro has been promoted to Senior IT Auditor in Technology Risk at the professional services multinational.


Sanne Verhagen

An elite judo athlete for over ten years, Sanne Verhagen kicked off her career winning gold and silver medals at European and world junior level.


In 2014, she won a bronze medal at the World Championships in Chelyabinsk, before taking silver at the IFJ Grand Prix in Samsun a year later. Sanne represented her country at the Olympic Games in Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020.


As well as being a judo instructor, Sanne holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Eindhoven University of Technology.
