Athlete Spotlight: Taylor Edwards

Athlete Career Transition (ACT) would like to give a big shout out to Taylor Edwards as the former athlete moves forward in her second career after professional sport.

Taylor Edwards

Taylor was contracted to the World Baseball Softball Confederation from 2021-2023 as a professional softball player. During this time, she also coached softball and worked as a pro pitcher and fastpitch instructor.

Outside of sport, Taylor holds a BA in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Facilities Management, an MA in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management, and an MA in Marketing Management, all three of which were obtained at the University of Illinoi Urbana-Champaign.

Athlete Career Transition Co-Director, Andy Moore said:

“Taylor’s experience, both in academia and in softball, gives her such a broad skillset. She’s now developing these attributes in the supportive environment provided by AB.

“We really enjoyed working with Taylor and we’re delighted to see her thriving in her new role.”

Athlete Career Transition works alongside global organisations to successfully transition professional former athletes across all disciplines into the corporate domain.
