Former athlete Joshua Fox joins DataStream

We are delighted to reveal that former basketball professional, Joshua Fox has teamed up with DataStream.

Joshua was supported by Athlete Career Transition in his move away from elite sport. He now starts his second career as a Sales Development Representative at DataStream, an insurance/technology firm operating at the intersection of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.


The appointment sees the Fijian-born athlete combine his academic background with the wide range of skills he developed playing top-flight basketball around the world.


Joshua Fox (US)

Joshua represented UC Riverside at collegiate level, before transferring to City College of San Francisco, and then UC Davis.


In 2016, he moved to the UK to begin his professional basketball career at Cheshire Phoenix of the British Basketball League. He spent the 2017 NBL season with Hawke’s Bay Hawks in New Zealand, before signing for Ballarat Miners in the South East Australian Basketball League. Joshua saw out his career with a season at Melbourne side, Frankston Blues.


Away from the court, Joshua holds an Associate’s degree from City College of San Francisco. In 2016, he graduated from the University of California, Davis, with a Bachelor’s degree in Organisational Studies. This was followed up by an MA in Business Administration from Maryville University of Saint Louis.
