Hired Athlete: Stacy Samara

We are delighted to announce that former gymnast, Stacy Samara has teamed up with Avanade in her career after professional sport.



The Greek international athlete moved away from sport with Athlete Career Transition. She is now a Senior Analyst with the professional services multinational.


The appointment sees the double Olympian apply her elite knowledge and experience to success in the business domain.


Stacy Samara

Between 2009 and 2016, Stacy Samara led the Greek rhythmic gymnastics team to major events including the Olympic Games, World Championships, European Championships and World Cups.


She participated in numerous World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships from 2010 to 2015 and also earned a spot in the 2015 European Games in Baku. Samara's Olympic journey began in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London and she continued as a key member of Greece's rhythmic gymnastics team in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, showcasing her exceptional skills and dedication.
